IntelliTurf met with Franchise Brokers Association on Friday to discuss our products and enlisting their help with building our franchise business. These professionals are located all across the country and will be able to introduce our business to a variety of location and prospects. For many potential franchisees this would be the first step in the process of becoming a business partner with IntelliTurf. We have a process that includes many give and take steps so that each party feels that we are all a good fit for each other.
The most important step in this process is the discovery day which we bring potential prospects to our headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a learning day, not a decision day for our visitors. We both gather information that will lead to a decision by both parties on whether we should move forward.
IntelliTurf plans to grow across the country delivering our 100% recyclable and lead free products to all major markets. With record numbers of municipalities limiting irrigation for landscape purposes and the environmental movement that has swept the country the past few years, we feel every area of the country will see a growth in the use of our products.
Since 1998 we have installed our artificial turf all across the country from Maine to California to Florida and many places in between. The FBA now has the ability to help us with this growth. We are excited about helping new franchisees fulfill thier dreams of business ownership and look forward to the FBA being a part of the process.

We just received Franchise Agreements for our 4th location in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area. Aaron Atkins has chosen IntelliTurf to be his next career and we are looking forward to helping with the brutal drought conditions and water shortages in this part of the country. There seem to be 4 separate territories in one with Reno, Lake Tahoe, Truckee and Carson City all so close but all so different.
We welcome Aaron to our IntelliTurf family and look forward to his grand opening this fall.

The latest study from the Environmental Protection Agency has found that the dust from fields built with Nylon fibers that contain lead are safe. Nylon fields used lead to color the turf green. For over 30 years no cases of lead poisoning were reported. Today’s artificial turf and fake grasses are made from polyethylene and contain no lead. The new generation of is actually 100% recyclable. IntelliTurf feels our products actually help the environment while providing safe beautiful place to play.
Artificial turf requires no watering, fertilizers or chemicals. Emmissions are greatly reduced due to the lack of maintenance required. High traffic areas cannot produce natrual grass surfaces for sports without large amounts of water and maintenance.

Artificial turf that saves water, reduces emmissions and is 100% recyclable has a place in today’s environmental movement. No not all natural grass should be removed, but many areas use too much water and require maintenance to the point they are a detriment to the enviroment.
Playgrounds and fields need to be safe places to enjoy recreation, but the maintenance for natural grass in these areas is not only expensive, it is wasteful.
Amenities for schools, churches, multi-housing properties can be produced from artificial turf and once the installation is complete, the environmental impact is minimal.
IntelliTurf Franchise, Inc. is here to help put people in business with a desire to save water, reduce emmission all while delivering the superior look and feel of artificial turf installations. Our products are lead free and 100% recyclable.

The synthetic turf council puts the percentage of all artificial turf utilized for fields at 35 to 40%. So where is the rest going?
Amenities and Landscaping are the answers. Amenities such as playgrounds and putting greens enhance multi-housing properties, private residences as well as churches and schools.
Landscaping for roof tops, parking lot islands and high traffic lawns all benefit from artificial turf.
Fields for football and soccer and numerous other activities have been around since the 1960’s. These surfaces looked artificial and were terrible to play on. Today’s surfaces have come along way both aesthetically and from a user friendly standpoint.
